The Rev. Dr. Annie Lawson

Transitional Priest-in-Charge

The Rev. Dr. Annie Lawson (she/her) joined us February 10, 2025, as our Transitional Priest-in-Charge.

 

The Rev. Dr. Annie Lawson is an Episcopal priest and an economics professor at Oakland Community College. Annie lives in Rochester Hills and her home parish is Nativity Episcopal Church in Bloomfield Township. She has served at St. Mary’s-in-the-Hills (Orion Township), St. Paul’s (Romeo), St. Luke’s (Utica), and St. Andrew’s (Livonia). She has served as a priest in this diocese since June 11, 2016. She has 3 children.

Her mission statement for ministry is to proclaim the reign of God is at hand, helping all people reconcile with the Triune God and each other, and through sacraments, the Office, music, lifelong formation, community, and work for justice and peace, to empower us to love God and neighbor.

Kateri Boucher

Ministries Coordinator

Kateri (she/they) joined the St. Peter's community when she moved to Detroit in 2018.

She joined the staff in 2022 as Pastoral Intern and now serves as the Ministries Coordinator. She is in the process of receiving her Masters of Divinity through the United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities (studying online). Kateri is part of the Queer St. Peter's affinity group, a regular volunteer at Manna Meal soup kitchen, and a collaborator in Detroit Community Song Circles. She is the grateful caretaker of an opinionated tabbycat named Lucy.
