Manna Community Meal soup kitchen was started in 1976. It is located in the lower level of St. Peter’s (through the red door) but is directly linked and affiliated with Day House Catholic Worker. Manna Meal is co-sponsored by St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Its mission is to offer sanctuary from the harsh realities of the street and to foster human dignity.

The soup kitchen is co-managed by Jeff DeBruyn and Luke Mattson. Fr. Tom Lumpkin and Marianne Arbogast retired in December of 2025 after almost 50 years of service. They continue to support our work as honorary board members.
